Miss Denise Gail Davis and Monroe Ford Greene Jr. were united in marriage Saturday at Main Street United Methodist Church. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. E. W. Rogers, and followed by a reception in the fellowship hall of the church.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owens E. Davis Sr. of Elgin, is a graduate of Blaney High School. SHe was formerly employed by Rosewood Florist.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe F. Green, Sr., is a graduate of Dreher High School and Wingate College with a degree in liberal arts. He is employed with Morrison-Knudsen as a field engineer.

After a wedding trip to the mountains of North Carolina, the couple will reside in Barnwell.
