YMCA fall classes
The Columbia YMCA will begin its fall classes Sept. 8.
The classes, and their times and days are:
Low Impact aerobics, 7-7:45 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 4:30-5:15 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday ($10 for members, $28 for non-members).
Y’ Risers, 7:15-8 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday (members only).
Stretch / Walker, Jog, 9-9:45 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday (members only).
Water Exercise, 10-10:45 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday ($10 for members, $30 for non-members).
Lunch Bunch, 12:12 – 12:47 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and 1:12- 1:47 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday ($11, members only).
Intermediate Aerobics, 5-6 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday ($13 for members, $27 for non-members).
TUF, 5:40 – 6:40 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday ($13 for members, $27 for non-members).
Beginning Aerobic, 5:45 – 6:30 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday ($13 for members, $27 for non-members).
Aerobics ‘n Weights, 6-7 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday ($13 for members, $27 for non-members).
There is a $2 discount for all classes if you register by Sept. 4.
Other classes offered by the YMCA are Judo, Yoga I, Racquetball for Beginners, Intermediate Racquetball, Y’s Way to Fitness, Adult Beginners Swimming and Adult Intermediate Swimming. Dance Aerobics will be taught at Riverland Hills Baptist Church, and Aerobics will be taught at Blaney Baptist Church.
The YMCA also offers fitness testing, blood pressure monitoring and weight training.
