Born in Kershaw County, he was a son of the late Travis Caleb Reynolds and Sallie Humphries Reynolds. He was retired from the U. S. Rubber Co. of Winnsboro and a retired farmer. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion, James Leroy Belk Post No. 17.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Branham Reynolds; daughters, Mrs. Edward Sill (Ruby Sill) of Columbia, Mrs. William (Doris) Davis of Charleston, Mrs. Carroll D. (Mattie) Stokes of Camden, Mrs. Alva A. (Helen) Kelley Jr. of Bishopville and Mrs. Robert N. (Irene) Dodson of Dallas, Texas; sons, Hilton Reynolds and Hazel Reynolds of Lugoff and Grady Reynolds of Blythewood; a sister, Mrs Emmanuel (Nannie) Evans of Winnsboro; a brother Henry Reynolds of Winnsboro; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Services were to be held at 11 a.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Centerville community, with burial in Smyrna United Methodist Church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
