Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carr of Elgin announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Leah Carr and Paul Douglas Stokes of Charleston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Stokes of Bishopville.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 3 at Blaney Baptist Church.
