ELGIN – Mrs. Myrtle Abbott Outlaw, 84, widow of John Earl Outlaw, died Monday.
Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Rasmus W. Abbott and Dobey Evans Abbott. She was a retired state employee and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie D. Wells of Manassas, Va.; sons, Johnny Outlaw of Manassas and Howard Outlaw of Elgin; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Harmony Baptist Chruch.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel.
