12TH ANNUAL ELGIN CATFISH STOMP is scheduled for tomorrow in the Kershaw County Community of Elgin. A full day of family entertainment will begin at 10 a.m. with an 80-unit parade. Serving of the famous stew begins at 11:30 AM in the old Blaney School Cafeteria. Other stomp attractions will include arts and crafts booths, a carnival, dancers, bands and singing groups. The closing event will be a basketball game in the Blaney Gym at 7 PM matching the touring American Pee Wee Midgets against an All-Star team from the Elgin area. An old fashioned gospel sing will be held at 3 PM Sunday call 438-9236 or 438-2362.
