Spend the day Christmas shopping in more than 50 specialty shops all gathered under one roof at the State Fairgrounds as the Junior League of Columbia presents at second annual Holiday Market today and Sunday.

The event. Underway from 10 AM to 6 PM today and 1 to 6 PM Sunday, will be held in the Cantey Building.

Shoppers will pay a tax deductible entry fee of $3 each; children six through 12, $1 each; children under 6 free.

And for those with leftover turkey blues, head on over to Elgin today for the 12th annual Catfish Stomp. An 80-unit Christmas parade kicks off activities at 10 AM and the famous catfish stew will be served beginning at 11:30 AM in the old Blaney School cafeteria.
