Mrs. Mattie Brooks Peake, 80, widow of Carl Peake, died Saturday.
Born in York County, she was a retired employee of Uniroyal and a member of Stephen Greene Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Roach of Jacksonville, Fla., brothers, Traywick Brooks and Howard Brooks of Greenville; and sister, Mrs. Stewart (Eunice) Ferrell of Dallas, N. C., and Ms. Clara O. Brooks of West Columbia.
Services will be 4 p.m. today at Stephen Greene Baptist Church, with burial in Smyrna Methodist Church cemetery.
