Mrs. Dollie Mae Hoover, 60, of 2683 Steven Campbell Road, widow of Davis Hoover, died Tuesday.
Born in Blaney, she was a former employee of Bendix Corp. and a superannuated minister of the South Carolina Conference. She was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church of Elgin, the Adult Sunday School Class and the Women’s Ministries.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Angela Hoover of Elgin; brothers, Leslie Bowen of Lexington, Eddie Bowen of Columbia and Murdie Bowen and Delmar Bowen of Elgin; and sister, Mrs. Catherine Jeffers of Columbia and Mrs. Beatrice Branham of Elgin.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Highway Pentecostal Holines Church.
The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Beatrice Branham of 1003 White Pond Road, and will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Talbert-Shives Funeral Home.
