Jim Wylie Branham, 79, died Thursday.

Born in Kershaw County, he was a son of the late Levi Branham and Mrs. Annie Hayes Branham. He was retired and a member of Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Dickey Branham; a daughter, Mrs. George (Patricia) Martin of Columbia; and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Rabon of Lugoff.

Plans will be announced by Pope Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church or to the Baptist Medical Cancer Center.
