KERSHAW’S COUNCIL ASKS PANEL TO LOOK INTO ZONING CHANGES

A request to rezone land near Lugoff-Elgin High School for commercial use has prompted Kershaw County Council to ask the county planning and zoning commission to look into establishing some additional zoning categories. AUCTION BRINGS TOP DOLLAR

Good news from organizers of the Spring Valley Education Foundation. Their annual auction raised about $18,500 for the high school, $1,500 more than last year. (Of course, the columnist’s publicity fee has not yet been deducted. Ho, ho, ho.)
