Deborah Lynn Minges and Edward Vincent Williams, both of Columbia, were married Saturday at St. John’s Episcopal Church. The 11:30 a.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Alan Avery and was followed by a reception at Seibels house.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hall Minges of Lugoff, earned a bachelor of arts degree in education from the University of South Carolina. She is a teacher at Blaney Elementary School in Elgin.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Williams of Montgomery, Ill., earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering from USC. He is a mechanical engineer at NCR.

After a wedding trip to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, the couple will reside in Columbia.
