Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of the late Joseph T. Hornsby and Emily Bowen Hornsby, and was a member of Lugoff Friendship Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jean Jordan of Camden; a son, John Nelson of Lugoff; sisters, Mrs. Josephine Nelson of Atlanta and Mrs. Ellaree Hartmen of Charleston; and brothers, Woodrow Hornsby of Lugoff and J. R. Hornsby of Elgin.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today, September 13, 1990 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge.
