Services for Gladys Mary Onley, 61, of West Columbia will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Talbert-Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Garden Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the South Carolina Diabetes Association.

Mrs. Onley died Monday. Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of the late, Willie Hornsby and Dora Vermell Jackson Hornsby. She was a former employee of Tapp’s department store and a member of the Chapel of Redemption Church.

Surviving are her husband, Charlie Franklin Onley; sons, C. Dwight Onley, R. Steve Onley, and C. Doug Onley, all of West Columbia; a daughter, Annette Dock of West Columbia; brothers, Ream Hornsby, Amos Hornsby, and Junior Hornsby; and sisters, Faye Hook and Vermell Black.
