Services for Martha Sue Brazell, 78, of 530 Hillcrest Ave. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eau Claire Baptist Church, with burial in Salem United Methodist Church cemetery of Elgin. Memorials may be made to Eau Claire Baptist Church Organ Fund. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel.

Mrs. Brazell, wife of the late Wiley Lewis Brazell, died Wednesday. Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late George A. Johnson, Sr. and Emma Wright Johnson. She was retired from the South Carolina Tax Commission and was a member of Eau Claire Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 55 years.

Surviving are sons, Wilbur “Willie” Brazell of Columbia and Cecil Brazell of Elgin; a brother, James Johnson of Spartanburg; and sisters, Mary Lou Taylor of Waco, Texas, Evelyn Skinner of West Columbia and Lois Jennings of Spartanburg.
