ELGIN – Roxanne Lynne Stone of Columbia and David Christopher Edgerton of Elgin were married Saturday at Blaney Baptist Church. The 6 p.m. ceremony was preformed by the Rev. Lawrence Dennis and was followed by a reception a the church.

The bride, daughter of Sergeant Major and Mrs. James R. Stone of Columbia, attends Midlands Technical College. She is administrative specialist at the State Department of Corrections.

The bridegroom, son of William Lawrence Egerton of Bishopville and Harriet Dale Egerton of Elgin, attends the University of South Carolina. He is a reservist in the US Marine Corps.

The couple will reside in Columbia.
