ELGIN – Services for Larry Gene Rowe, 47, of 1848 Campbell Lane will be held at 1 p.m. today, August 26, 1992 in Blaney Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Carolina Children’s Fund. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is in charge.

Mr. Rowe died Tuesday, August 25, 1992. Born in Richland County he is the son of Mrs. Gertrude Medlin Rowe and the late Alfred L. Rowe. he was an employee of W. R. Hartin Inc., on the board of directors of the Palmetto Retriever Club and a member of Monticello Hunt Club.

Surviving are his mother of West Columbia; his wife, JoAnna Parker Rowe: sister, Barbara Beck of Lexington and Doris Bodie of Gilbert; brothers, David Rowe of West Columbia, Gary Rowe of Blythewood and Tony Rowe of West Columbia; and grandparents, Allie Medlin and Edward Rowe, both of Columbia.
