Berneese Kelly

ELGIN – Services for Berneese Mattox Kelly, 67, will be held at 2 p.m., today at Blaney Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the church building fund. Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin chapel is in charge.

Mrs. Kelly died Friday, Jan. 21, 1994. Born in Blythewood, she was a daughter of late Henry Mattox and Katie Bell Kelly. She was a member of Blaney Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, J. Alvin Kelly; daughters, Brenda Spencer and Marsha Flood, both of Elgin; a son, Rodney Kelly of Elgin; sister, Polly Raines of Blythewood, Marvia Brazell of Elgin and Lillie Thigpen of Columbia; brother Charles Mattox and Jack Mattox, both of Blythewood, and Ed Mattox of Lake Murray; and seven grandchildren.
