According to the United States Census reported on January 14, 1920, Henry Boone (23) rented a home in Buffalo, Kershaw County, South Carolina with his wife Kate Boone (25) and children; Annie Mae Boone (7) and Gussie Boone (5). All family members were reported to have been born in South Carolina. Henry Boone was a farmer on a general farm.

1930 Census Information:

According to the United States Census reported on April 2, 1930, Henry C Boone (36) rented a home in Flat Rock, Kershaw County, South Carolina with his wife, Katie Boone (37) and children; Annie M Boone (17) and Gussie Boone (15). All family members were reported to have been born in South Carolina. Henry C Boone was a farmer on a general farm, Katie Boone and Gussie were farm laborers on a general farm.

1957

On May 4, 1957, Mrs. Jack Lovett was listed as a living daughter in the obituary of Mr. Charles Henry Boone.

1973

On June 30, 1973, Mrs. Annie Mae Lovett was listed as a living daughter in the obituary of Mrs. Katie S. Boone.

1995

ELGIN -Services for Annie Mae Boone Lovett, 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, with burial in Hillcrest Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lovett, wife of the late Jerome A. “Jack” Lovett, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 1995. Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of the late Henry A. Boone and Katie Sharpe Boone. She was a member of Spears Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Kathleen Markham and Eloise Ross, both of Elgin; a brother, Gus Boone of Ridgeway; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
