BETHUNE – Services for Christian Danzy, 93, will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Sandy Level Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Haile’s Funeral Home of Camden is in charge.

Mrs. Danzy died Sunday. Born in Chesterfield County, She was a daughter of the late Joe Jackson and Betty McCoy Jackson. She was a member of the Senior Choir and Missionary Board of Sandy Level Baptist Church. Her husband was the late Harvey Danzy.

Surviving daughters, Mary Gantt, Newark, N.J., Sophia, Annie McCoy, Betty King, Bethune; sons, Sammie Danzy, Bethune, John Henry Danzy, Brooklyn, N Y, Harvey Danzy, Jr and Robert, Essau and Paul Danzy, Albany, NY, 37 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren.
