ELGIN – Nekki Je’Cenia Dixon of Elgin and David Polite of Eutawville were married Saturday at Fort Clark Baptist Church. The 3 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. WIlliams H. Woodard Jr. and was followed by a reception at Blaney Elementary School.

The bride, daughter of Ineta D. Jones of Elgin, attended Midlands Technical college. She is employed by Standard Corp. in Lugoff.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Polite, Sr., of Eutawville, attended South Carolina State University. He is in the U. S. Army at Fort Stewart, Ga.
