Selina Mayo Summerour was born February 20, 1968 in Rantoul, Ill., the daughter of Charles L. Mayo and Gail Strain Mayo.

ELGIN – Services for Selina Mayo Summerour, 29, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Blaney Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Blaney Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 305, Elgin, 29045. Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.

Mrs. Summerour died Sunday, August 3, 1997. Born in Rantoul, Ill., she was the daughter of Charles L. Mayo and Gail Strain Mayo. She was employed with Kroger, and attended Blaney Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, James Bruce Summerour of Elgin; son Jeb Stuart Summerour of Elgin; daughter, Karolina C. Simpson of Elgin; her parents of Killeen, Texas; brother, John William Mayo of Barstow, Calif; and sister-in-law, Susan Mayo of Copperas Cove, Texas.
