Immunizations
State law requires all students, K-12, to obtain a certificate of immunization before enrolling in school. The certificate verifies permanent immunization against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR). All kindergarten and first – and second-grade students are required to have had their second measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) shot. The certificate of immunization must show the dates of both MMR shots.
