BLANEY – Funeral Services for Lillian Watts Brown Bradley, 93, will be held at 4 p.m Friday, August 22, 1997, at Blaney Baptist Church, Elgin, with burial in Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Lawrence Dennis will officiate. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Senior Adult Women’s Sunday School Class at Blaney. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Kornegay Funeral Home. Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made to Blaney Baptist Church, 1400 Blaney Road, Elgin 29045.

Mrs. Bradley died Tuesday, August 19, 1997. Born in Fairfield County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Watts and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Branham Watts. She was first married to the late Leslie Paul Brown, and later to the late Rufus Fred Bradley. She retired from Charm Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Blaney Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Elise Brown McLeod of Elgin, Ophelia Brown Long of Camden, Madge Bradley Hammond of West Columbia; sons, Maxcy Paul Brown of Jenkinsville, Curtis Everett Brown of Elgin, Rudolph Travis Bradley of Aiken; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Watts Patrick of Reesville; a brother, Manis Lee Watts of Columbia.

August 21, 1997, Lillian Bradley was listed in the newspaper article “South Carolina Deaths.”
