COLUMBIA – Services for Herbert “School Boy” Green, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Friendship Baptist Church, with burial in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Lugoff. The casket will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Brown’s Funeral Home of Camden is in charge.

Mr. Green died Sunday. Born in Blaney, he was a son of the late Herbert Simon and Dafney Taylor Green.

Surviving are his wife, Carrie Green; four daughters; 11 sisters; three brothers; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
