Lisa Ross

ELGIN – Services for Lisa Renee Ross, 37, will be held at 4 p.m Tuesday, September 7, 1999, at Union Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Steve Reed with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, which is in charge. Memorials may be made to The Geiger Children’s Educational Fund, c/o First Citizens Bank, 2464 Main St., Elgin, SC 29045.

Ms. Ross died Sunday, September 5, 1999. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Fletcher Ross of Blythewood and Patsy Motley Ross of Elgin. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Surviving are her mother; father; step mother, Frances Ross; maternal grandfather, Porter M. Motley of Elgin; children, Charles, Joanna, and Derrick Geiger of the home; sisters, Sherry Kistler of Elgin, Suzanne Ross of Columbia; fiancee’ Gary Karr of Elgin.

On October 19, 2000, Lisa Ross was mentioned as the deceased granddaughter in the obituary of Porter McMaster Motley.
