WEST COLUMBIA – Graveside service, with Masonic Rites, for John William Kelly, 78, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel. Memorials may be made to Elizabeth McDaniel Chapter #115 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mr. Kelly died Monday, July 3, 2000. Born in Blaney, he was the son of the late John L. and Janie Ellis Kelly. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he retired from Columbia Cooling and Heating. Mr. Kelly was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason and Past Master of Richland Masonic Lodge #39 and a Worthy Patron of the Elizabeth McDaniel Chapter # 115 of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Alma Dawkins Kelly; son, William Davis Kelly of Mayer, Ariz.; grandchildren; Monica M. Pearce of Batesburg-Leesville, Steve W. Kelly of Pheonix, Ariz., Toya M. Thomson of West Columbia, Janet K. Goins of Swansea, John W. Kelly of Mayer; 12 great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara J. Kelly Moore.
