South Carolina Watermelon Queen Misty James of Pelzer made some new friends at the recent watermelon social at Blaney Baptist Church in Elgin. Helping James enjoy the occasion were, from left, Steven Fogle, Bethany Hollis with her brother Tre Hollis and Janna Bramblett. THe event was part of a busy summer the melon queen has spent promoting watermelons throughout the Southeast.
