Joesire Jones

CAMDEN – Services for Joesire Inez Jones, 91, will be 2 p.m. today at St. Mark Church of God in Christ in Camden with burial in Cedar Cemetery. Haile’s Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Jones, widow of Camie Jones, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001. Born in Blaney, she was the daughter of the late Frank Jones and Grace Tillman Jones. She founded the Church of God in Christ and served in the S.C. Jurisdiction Women’s Department.

Surviving are her daughters, Grace Turnbull, Selena Braxton, Thelma Rainey; 18 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; three nieces; a nephew. She was predeceased by a son, a daughter and a grandson.
