Miss Jennifer Lynn Blizzard of Lugoff and Mr. Carl Kevin Branham of Ridgeway were married March 3 at Blaney Baptist Church. The Rev. Lawrence Dennis performed the 6 p.m. double-ring ceremony. A reception followed.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Blizzard of Lugoff, is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Carter Poole of Orangeburg, the late Mr. Richard Doyle Poole, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raeford Blizzard. she earned a B. A. in journalism from the University of South Carolina and is a marketing specialist for Fort Jackson Federal Credit Union in Columbia.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs Carl Branham, is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Rabon, all of Ridgeway, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Branham. He is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and he is self-employed.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a floor length gown made of Duchess satin with Venice laced short cap sleeve. Her three quarters length opened crown veil was accented with white satin roses and pearls. matron of honor was Mrs. Rachel Reynolds Bowen. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Lisa Poole-Hall, Miss Amanda Autum Burdette, Mrs. Sheby Branham Sweet and Caitlan Rabon, flower girl.
Best man was Master Kelvin Bobby-Linn Branham, the groom’s son. Ushers were Mr. Robin Andrew Blizzard, Mr. Jeffrey Brian Himes and Mr. Darren Lloyd Sweet. Ring bearer was Hunter Jackson Blizzard. Bible carrier was Edward McNeil Blizzard, the bride’s son.
Pianist was Mrs. Ann Hough. Soloist and trumpeter was Mrs. Wendy Floyd Campbell.
After a wedding cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Ridgeway.
