BLACKSBURG — Brenda Kay Williams Painter, 34, of 1736 Blacksburg Highway, Unit No. 2 died March 10, 2002 at her home.

A native of Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Robert Oliver and Mildred Louise McCombs Williams.

She was a cook for Mike’s Corner and was a member of Freedom Fellowship Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Randy Painter Sr. of the home; one son, Randy Dale Painter Jr. of the home; two daughters, Crystall Dianne and Chasity Nicole Painter, both of the home; two brothers, Robert Edward Williams Sr. and Bobby Joe Williams, both of Camden; and four sisters, Esther Hill of Liberty, Betty Jo Putman, Linda Fay Hyitt and Mary Jane Rhoades, all of Gaffney.

Visitation will be held from 7-9 tonight at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Freedom Fellowship Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Terrell Dillingham and Gregg Martin.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service.

The family is at 919 9th St., Gaffney.
