Toddy Jane Steele Falls was born August 3, 1948 in Ft. Knox, Kentucky, a daughter of Melvin Robert Steele and Ethel Rebecca Hale Steele.

ELGIN -Toddy Falls, 54, died Thursday, August 22, 2002. She will be cremated. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2002 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, 1112 Fair St., Camden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Children’s Home, 3201 Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC 29204.

Mrs. Falls was born in Ft. Knox, Ky., the daughter of Melvin Robert Steele and Ethel Rebecca Hale Steele. She had been an administrative assistant with Southern Bell Telephone Company and attended Blaney Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Michael Franz Falls of Elgin; sisters, Belma Rabon of Columbia, Ruth Ann Steele of Rock Hill; brother, Jonathan Steele of Elgin.

She was predeceased by brothers, Robert Steele Jr. and Mark Anthony Steele.
