BLANEY – Services for Jessie Irene Watts, 89, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, officiated by Pastor Kerry Breen and Rev. Dallas Goff, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Watts’ grandsons. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Senior Care.
Mrs. Watts died July 20, 2003. Born in Blaney, she was the daughter of the late Jesse L. Goff and Henrietta Goff. Mrs. Watts was a member of Central Assembly of God and had retired from Stone Manufacturing.
Surviving are daughters and son-in-laws, Ruby W. Avant and Joe Avant of West Columbia, Sara W. Goff and Rev. Dallas Goff of Gaston, Norma W. Hambrick and Jack Hambrick of Spartanburg, Murlene W. Gregory and Larry Gregory of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Manis L. “Buddy” and Linda Watts of West Columbia; 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Watts was predeceased by her husband, Manis Watts.
