ELGIN – Jennifer Jacquelyn Starling of Elgin and George William “Will” Catoe Jr. of Camden were married April 30, 2005, at Blaney Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. William L. Coates of Gainesville, Ga., performed the 6 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at KCMC Health Resource Center.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Starling of Elgin, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Farrell Hair of Columbia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Starling (Eloise Goff Starling)of Lugoff. A 1999 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and a 2003 graduate of Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, she is employed by First Citizens Banks.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. George William Catoe (Jill Baker Catoe) of Camden, is the grandson of Mrs. Coleen Baker of Cassatt, the late Lewis Charles Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Alby W. Bowers of Camden and the late Thomas Marvin Catoe. A 1997 graduate of Camden High School, he is employed by the Lugoff Fire Department.
Matron of honor was Elizabeth Starling. Attendants were Meghan Starling, Mary Catoe, Lindsey Miles, Jenny Lynch, Blythe Morrison, Becky Lee, Tanya Ross and Candace Catoe.
Best man was George William Catoe. Groomsmen were Jerry Lee Starling, Jeff Starling, Tyler Starling, John Terry, Jason Lee, Skip Ross, Chad Hancock and Tommy Flowers.
After an eastern Caribbean cruise, the couple will reside in Elgin.
