Cecil Leroy Livingston was born July 3, 1929, in Blaney, SC, a son of the late John Livingston and Ola Ellisor Livingston.

COLUMBIA – Graveside service with military honors for Mr. Cecil L. Livingston, 76, of Columbia, will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday, September 7, 2005, in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the VFW Post 641. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Shives Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Bethcar Baptist Church, 950 Bethcar Church Road, Wagener, SC 29164.

Mr. Livingston died Sunday, September 4, 2005. Born in Blaney, SC, he was a son of the late John Livingston and Ola Ellisor Livingston. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and self-employed in commercial construction.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Ann Anderson Livingston; children and spouses, Levon and Mary Livingston of Columbia, Dan and Dianne Robbins of Wagener, Dwayne and Tina Livingston of Johnston, Ronnie and Tammy Livingston of Columbia; grandchildren, Michael Short, Briget Livingston, James MacDougall, Debra Livingston, Rebecca Livingston, Sarah Livingston, Jessica Givens, Dillon Givens; sister, Evelyn and her husband, Jim Williams of Gaston; brother, Vernon Livingston of Columbia.

His sister, Margaret Derrick, preceded him in death.
