Brief church history: Blaney Baptist was organized into a Southern Baptist church on March 12, 1905. Centennial events have been planned throughout this year, including a homecoming celebration this Sunday.
What makes this church special: “Blaney Baptist offers the Elgin community a family of faith, hope and love in action – sharing God in exciting and caring ways. Among the many activities of the church is a fall clothes giveaway, sponsored by the Women’s Missionary Union.
