ELGIN – Homegoing Service for Lucy Mae Green Thomas of Elgin, will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at Fort Clark Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home, 2930 Colonial Drive, is in charge.

Mrs. Thomas died March 22, 2006. Born in Blaney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Abram Green and Mattie Green; the widower of Albert Thomas, Sr., and a member of Fort Clark Baptist Church.

Surviving are her two sons, Ellison (Mary) Thomas and Albert Thomas, Jr.; eight daughters, Shirley (George) Roseborough, Mattie (William) Burgess, Hattie Thomas, Mary (the late Ezell) Blanding, Cora (Eugena) McLurkin and Silvan English, Minnie Thomas and Linda (Richard) Brown; brothers, George Green, Major Green, John Green, Arthur Henry Green and Bennie Green,; one sister, Mary Gault, PA; thirty (30) grandchildren; seventy eight (78) great-grandchildren; and twenty (20) great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.
