PHOTO: COLOR The Upton Trio brought a touch of music and science to Blaney Elementary recently. Each piece of music was composed to compliment science facts that were demonstrated by Jennifer Windham. Composed by violinist Mary Lee Taylor, musical selections had names like ‘Gravity,’ ‘Electromagnetism,’ ‘Nuclear Forces,’ and ‘Energy in Motion.’ Checking out the science elements are students from Sheila Gantt’s first grade class: front clockwise, Kyle Kelly, Joseph Summers, Raigan Muldrow, Edgar Eisiminger, Tyler Gardner and Haylee Pagan.
