LUGOFF — Funeral services for Nancy Coone Wood, 54, will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff Elgin Chapel, with burial to follow in Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, January 18, 2008, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Ms. Wood died Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Born in Fort Meade, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Everette Coone and Clara Coone. Mrs. Wood was employed with the S.C. Department of Transportation.

Ms. Wood was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed life to the fullest.

Surviving are daughters, Ronda D. Renew of Hopkins, Sarah D. Gainey of Lugoff, and Juanita F. Wood of Jacksonville, FL; stepdaughter, Marcia L. Wood of Elgin; 7 grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Dwight D. Coone, George Coone, and Charles Coone.
