William Edward Ragan was born May 18, 1938, in Albia, Monroe County, Iowa, the son of Blair Ragan and Ollie Kellogg Ragan.
He retired from the United States Army after serving 20 years. He served two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Ragan Enjoyed woodworking and electronics. He was a member of Blaney Baptist Church.
He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Ragan.
William Edward “Bill” Ragan, 71, of Elgin, at 11 a.m. at Blaney Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Powers Funeral Home is in charge.
