Sam Jackson III of Pelion won the Kiawah Island Junior Challenge Boys 16-19 Division last weekend. The event is part of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.
Jackson had a two-day total of 4-over in the event that was cut to 27 holes. Lushen Evans of S ummerville was a stroke back in second.
Taylor Dodson of Aiken won the Girls 15-18 Division with a 12-over total.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will travel to Chapin to play the Columbia Junior Challenge at Timberlake Country Club on Feb. 20-21.

Junior rankings. Thomas and Collins Bradshaw of Columbia are among the top-ranked boys and girls junior players in the The Heritage Classic Foundation Rankings.
Thomas is the second-ranked boy in the state, behind Austin Cody of North Charleston.

Legends to participate in fundraiser.
The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf will participate in the “Tickets Fore Charity” fundraising platform.
The program offers organizations a chance to raise funds by promoting tickets sales to the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Champions Tour event, to be held April 19-25 at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa in Savannah.
The program enables participating charities to receive contributions based on the number of tickets sold in their name.
