WEST COLUMBIA – William “Billy” Lee Adams, 41, died unexpectedly Feb. 7, 2010.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at St. John’s UMC in Batesburg-Leesville with the Rev. Jacqueline Connelly officiating.

Billy was born Aug. 28, 1968, in Columbus, Ohio, to Charles and Mary Adams. He traveled many places in his youth during his father’s military career. After high school, Billy was trained and served as a craftsman working in the construction field throughout the Southeast. Billy was expressive through his artwork and had a deep love for family and animals of all kinds.

Billy is missed and loved by his parents of Batesburg, sister, Cynthia Brock of Elgin, children, Stephanie and Brittany Adams and a grandson, D’Andre, all of Elgin, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Billy was predeceased by his younger brother, Michael Adams of Gilbert.
