RIDGEWAY – Funeral service to honor the life of Earl Branham, 78, of Ridgeway, will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. at Springvale Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 10, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mr. Branham’s memory to Springvale Baptist Church, 1496 Springvale Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.

Mr. Branham died Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Born in Kershaw County, he was the son of the late Hannah Reynolds Branham and Ruben Branham. He retired from DuPont after 26 years and enjoyed hunting and trading horses.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Spencer Branham; daughters, Patricia Colvin (Randy) of Elgin, Erica Hope Rawls (Jon) of Lugoff; son, Ralph Wendall Branham of Lugoff; brothers, James Branham (Nancy) of Warner Robbins, Ga., William Branham of Camden; sister, Irene Hough (Bill) of Lugoff. Mr. Branham is also survived by grandchildren, Hannah and Emalee Rawls, Robert Earl Bledsoe, Heather, Kimberly and Morgan Colvin; greatgranddaughter, Mary Ann Nicole Large.
