Bessie Campbell Parker

Bessie Campbell Parker, returned to be with her creator on Monday, January 31, 2011. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Parker, 91, of Elgin will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Blaney Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Philip Blankenship will officiate. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Parker’s memory to Blaney Baptist Church, 1400 Blaney Road, Elgin, SC 29045.

Born in Elgin, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Belton Campbell and Oza Lee Ross Campbell. She was a member of Blaney Baptist Church and was a retired director from the Fort Jackson Day Care Center.
