Obituary of Donna Ann Grigsby

ELGIN – Funeral service for Donna Ann “Mrs. Red” Grigsby, 52, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gigsby died Friday, November 9, 2012. Born in Greenville, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Donald Heindel and Hazel Heindel. She was a dental hygienist and was a member of Union Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, NASCAR and watching bull riding. Donna was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Jerry M. Grigsby; daughter, Bonnie Faye Grigsby Kirkland; and granddaughter, Makayla Ann Kirkland. She was predeceased by a sister, Jennifer Holland.
