ELGIN Funeral service for Mr. James Viven Blanding Sr. will be held Sunday 2:30 p.m. (viewing 1:30 p.m.) at Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church’s cemetery. Viewing will be held today beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Leevy’s Funeral Home, Taylor Street Chapel.

Surviving are his wife, Angeline Weeks Blanding; sons, Kenneth Blanding and James Blanding Jr.; daughters, Angela and Angel Blanding; parents, Roosevelt Blanding and Marjorie G.
