ELGIN – A celebration of life service for Michael Steven Adams, 65, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Church of the Nazarene, Lugoff. The Rev. Scott Crandall will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. A graveside service will be held in Royal Pines Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., with a reception following at the home of Peggy Trousdale in Winnsboro. Mr. Adams passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Born in Winnsboro, he was a son of the late Leslie and Iva Marie Adams. Mr. Adams was a member of Faith Church of the Nazarene, Lugoff. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Myra Ann Jackson Adams; sons, William “Billy” Proctor of Elgin, Jerry Proctor (Miranda) of Blythewood; daughters, Michelle Adams of Winnsboro, Jessica Adams of Winnsboro; brothers, Charles and Richard Adams; sister, Peggy Truesdale; and 9 grandchildren.
