LUGOFF – Ollie Dixon Kirkland, 86, of Lugoff, SC, died Friday, January 26, 2018. She was born in Blaney, SC, the daughter of the late David C. Dixon and Inez Ross Dixon. Ollie was a homemaker and a member of Concord Baptist Church, having served the church for many years as pianist.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Concord Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday, January 28 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. Memorials may be made in Ollie’s memory to Concord Baptist Church.
Ollie is survived by her daughter, Deborah K. Koon of Blythewood, SC; son S. H. “Bobo” Kirkland, III (Lynn) of Elgin, SC; two brothers and two sisters, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ollie was predeceased by her husband, Sidney Heyward Kirkland, Jr., and three brothers.
