  1. My name is Joe Moore. I worked with Buck at The Crane Company from 1980 till he left. As much as I go back and forth from Columbia, I had all intentions of stopping and finding out where Buck lived. Guess things never work out like you want them to. I considered Buck as one of the guys you could depend on as well as count on when you were in need. Today was a low day for me. Today as I was leaving Elgin, I decided I was going to try to find the guys from my 20 years at The Crane Company. I had been to Bud Hoglen`s house about 30 years ago so I started in that area. Linda, his wife, told me Bud had died 1 1/2 years ago, as well as Robert (Bob) Leslie, and Buck as well. All close to the same time. This is one of those times you really wish you had tried harder. As Linda said “at our age you need to say what you want to say now because we`re not promised tomorrow. I know its a little late but my condolences to the family. Joe Moore
