LUGOFF –A funeral service for Virginia M. Adams, 62, will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Springvale Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Sean McElrath will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springvale Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams passed away Friday, July 19, 2019. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late William Eugene and Cacilia Hahn Mangum. Mrs. Adams served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Springvale Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, shopping, and gardening. Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Harold Vaughn Adams; daughters, Christina Osborn of Blythewood, Amanda Colon (Rafael) of El Paso, TX; siblings, Kathleen Skinner (David), Patricia Pierce, William Mangum (Dina), Richard Mangum (Lorri), John Mangum (Ginger), Sarah Odom (Paul); 4 grandchildren; and a sister-in-heart, Gina Dingler (Jeff).
